Project “SMS brothel” is an art project/research in the field of the usage of mobile phone in a private communication (it is a continue project of ‘‘Confidante’’ from year 2004). The trigger of the project was a few advertisements, published in a high edition newspaper: ” Are you lonely? Lustful? ”…“Send me sms, I can be your confidante! As an artist, I’m interested in developing an intimate relationship through mobile communication…”

The context of the project is a sociological research with aim to tackle the issue of confidence and manipulation in the usage of mobile communication. The expected response was mainly from male population and was alluding on erotic subjects. Responded individuals took no relevance to the fact, that ‘referent’ was ‘false’. That shows how deep the alienation, loneliness and lack of true communication are.

The galleries become place for communication, place for exchange and also relax. On the wall it was projection of SMS witch were coming in place.
